Érica Guerreiro, M.D., an ophthalmologist with Portuguese and German nationality, began her training in ophthalmology in 2009 in Frankfurt, with the internationally renowned surgeon Professor Dr. med. Claus Eckardt.
She was doctored in 2018 in the area of Visualization Techniques in Vitreous-Retina Ocular Microsurgery at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt, and was awarded, in international congresses, for the innovation shown in this area.
She began her ophthalmological activity in Portugal in October 2018 at the University Hospital Center of Algarve and teaches as Assistant Professor in the Department of Biomedical and Medical Sciences at the University of Algarve.
